PlayStation Will Allow Crossplay With The Nintendo Switch and Xbox One!
It seemed that this would never come true but recently a Sony executive filter (According to sources from TheLootGaming) that the crossplay between platforms Xbox One and Nintendo Switch will be possible very soon. A very good news for players who want to have their games or play with their friends no matter what consoles are playing.
This action of the part of PlayStation may come from the brutal demand of users to not be able to link their account or play with another system's player in Fortnite Battle Royale. If they use a Nintendo Switch or Xbox One they could not even dream of playing with their PlayStation friends or have linked their account with the skins they had bought. This generated some controversy because they blamed Sony for not thinking about their users, and not doing anything about it.
Epic Games had tried to dialogue with the company to see if they could come up with a solution but the excuse that PlayStation put was the following: "We can not allow our users to be playing with people we can not control", a logical excuse if we keep in mind that the PlayStation is mostly used by children and they need to have control at all times. But it has already been confirmed that everything will fully go well soon, we will see how they implement this technology in the future.
We also have to confirm that the PlayStation Crossplay was only available for PC, and iOS. Players will be able to enjoy crossplay starting at the end of the fiscal year, that is, in April 2019 (Is it really soon?). We hope that PlayStation complies with these words and we can finally play with our friends in the Microsoft or Nintendo console.
